Water & Wastewater Rate Study - Mr. Parker is currently in the process of completing a comprehensive water and wastewater rate study and capacity fee study for the Town.  During the course of the study, UAN identified a number of concerns with the existing rate structure that resulted in various inequities to certain customer classes.  As such, the rate analysis included revising the rate structure to be more equitable and consistent with modern industry standards.  Such revisions included establishing meter-based rates for both water and wastewater services, adjusting the outside-Town rate differentials to be more consistent with other utility systems, and developing a volumetric rate structure that is more consistent with the cost of providing service.  In addition to adjusting the utility rates and rate structure, UAN developed a 5-year capital plan to strategically meet the financial requirements of the CIP.  The capital plan included developing scenario analyses based on various facility options available for management decision.
